The three-month Tech Residency invites artists, programmers, and researchers to create work that addresses challenging social issues through the lens of new technologies. While developing projects in our labs, residents have access to one-on-one consultations with experienced software and hardware engineers; desk space; cutting edge equipment such as 3D printers, a laser cutter, and virtual reality headsets; and public engagement opportunities.

The Technology Residency has now shifted to an invite-only process, however we continue to encourage artists and practitioners with digital and/or technology-based practices to apply to our Visual Arts and Music residencies.
